What Comes After Survival?
We exist to expand the cultural imagination for how extraordinarily Black women can live. Our platform examines wealth, faith, ownership, pleasure, and rest, believing that every Black woman deserves a life spacious enough to fully enjoy her success. We are not just pursuing success, we are curating softer, brighter, more ambitious lives.

a note from the founder
I created Black Abundant Woman because I wanted to see more evidence in media.
Evidence of Black women with money. Black women with options. Black women choosing their lives instead of living according to traditional or societal expectations.
Black women building businesses, buying property, traveling the world, resting without guilt, loving God, pursuing enormous dreams, experiencing pleasure, and actually enjoying the lives they worked so damn hard to build.
Not just the Oprahs and Rihannas of the world, either.
I wanted to see us—all over the world—living lives bigger than survival.
BAW is where I intend to document those lives, explore what makes them possible and expand our collective imagination for what we get to experience next. With a few important distinctions...
You don't have to hate the life you have to desire more.
You can be grateful and still expand.
You can be successful and decide you'd like more ease.
You can have enough and become available for overflow.
There is so much more life to live.
Bigger visions. Brighter lives.
